Shah Rukh Khan On Nayanthara's Less Screen Time In Jawan: Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara teamed up for Jawan for the first time, and it has been creating ripples at the box office.

Fans have loved their sizzling chemistry; however, rumours mills had that Nayanthara is upset with the film's director, Atlee, for chopping off her screen time to elevate Deepika Pdukone's character.

Meanwhile, even a section of the audience felt that Nayanthara's character didn't have substance in the film. And now Shah Rukh Khan has reacted to the lady superstar's less screen time in the movie.

Shah Rukh Khan reacts to Nayanthara's chopped role in Jawan

Many media reports claimed that Nayanthara was upset over being sidelined by Deepika Padukone's extended cameo in Jawan. While the actress has not commented on the report, Shha Rukh Khan seemingly talked about it during a recently conducted AskSRK session.

On Friday, Shah Rukh held an 'Ask SRK' session on X (formerly Twitter), during which a fan talked about the film's single mom plot.

Posting a scene from the film, the fan wrote, "I loved Azad's bond with Suji ...the single mom storyline was so subtly done and really refreshing. Thank you for representing women from all walks of life. Love you Shah @iamsrk #AskSRK #Jawan,"

To this, the actor said, "I also felt that the story of Narmada as a single mom was amazing. Unfortunately in the scheme of things couldn't find more screen time but as is was also wonderful. #Jawan."

Is Nayathara upset with Atlee over less screen time in Jawan?

Reports suggested that Nayanthara, who made her Bollywood debut with 'Jawan', has been upset with Atlee for reducing her screen time and sidelining her character because of Deepika Pdukone. The reports also claimed that Nayanthara wouldn't do any Bollywood.

Talking about the same, a source told HT, "She has been very upset with Atlee because her role was chopped in the film. Also, Deepika's (Padukone) character was elevated and Nayantara's part was significantly sidelined."

"It was not a cameo at all. Jawan was almost made to look like an SRK-Deepika film," the source added. However, the actress recently wished Atlee on his birthday.
