Shahid Kapoor has been all over promoting his latest release, Bloody Daddy, but sadly the actor has been at the receiving end of trolls for his candid revelations. Shahid was again trolled after he commented about Alia Bhatt being a mother.

WHAT SHAHID SAID ABOUT ALIA EMBRACING MOTHERHOOD

Shahid who has worked with Alia Bhatt in Udta Punjab and Shaandaar said that he couldn't believe, Alia is a mother. During an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Shahid was asked to reveal what he would ask if he met Alia. The actor said, "Alia is inquisitive, so I guess she will be asking the questions. We met recently and it's great to hang with her. Now she's a mother, I can't believe she's a mother. When I had worked with her, she was 21. Sometimes, when you spend a lot of time with somebody and then you've not met, you still feel they are that only. Like you don't feel so much has happened to them."

NETIZENS REACT TO SHAHID'S STATEMENT

Well, while his statement was heartwarming, it did not sit down well with a section of Reddit users who trolled the actor and reminded him of his wife, Mira Rajput who embraced motherhood at 21. A user wrote, "Pls make him stop talking.. geez."

Another commented, "Wasn't his wife actually 21 when they had a child? Weird that he thinks it's too young." Another Reddit user said. "When they married, Mira was 20 and Shahid was 34. Alia is only a year older than Mira."
There were a few others who defended him. A user said, "Maybe it's more personality wise. Alia's behaviour comes across like a teenager." Another explained, ". All he is saying here is we meet a certain person when they are young, single and meet the same person again after many years and we don't realise so many things have changed with that person."
