Sherlyn Chopra, who usually gives her opinion on all pressing issues, was seen reacting to the moral policing incident that happened with Urfi on Monday. After the video went viral, she was asked about it by the paparazzi, and Sherlyn defended the actress.
Speaking to paps, she said in Hindi, "Mujhe wo libas apatti-janak bilkul nahi laga. Mujhe lagta hain Uorfi moral policing ka shikaar ban gayi hain. Hum jis desh mein rehte hain, usey land of Kamasutra kaha jaata hain. Aise desh mein yadi moral policing hoti hain, toh ye galat hain."
Urfi Javed lashes out at an elderly man who commented on her clothes
A video of Urfi Javed from the airport is going viral on the internet and shows an elderly onlooker commenting on her clothes. She was wearing a backless printed maxi dress. As she was having regular sessions with the paps, a man interrupted and told her, "India ka naam kharab kar rahe ho".
To which, Urfi said, "Aapke baap ka kuch jaa raha hain? Nahi jaa raha hain na apke baap ka? Jao apna kaam karo." She said this and walked past.
The verbal argument was captured on camera and evoked responses from netizens. While some sided with the man, there were a few who supported Urfi and her freedom to wear what she liked.
