Shilpa, who herself is a mother of two, is quite close to her mother, Sunanda Shetty, and also shares a special bond with her. On Thursday, Shetty shared an update with fans about her mother's health following an operation in Mumbai. Sharing her feelings on seeing her mother undergo an operation, Shilpa also penned a long note, thanking the doctors and also lauding her mother Sunanda's courage for enduring all that stress.

Shilpa Shetty's mother, Sunanda Shetty, underwent surgery in Mumbai's Nanavati hospital. Sharing a photo of her mom lying on the bed and featuring the cardiologist who treated her, Shilpa penned a lengthy note and called her mom a "hero." She also requested that her fans pray for her mother's speedy recovery. "Seeing a parent undergo a surgery is never easy for any child. But, if there's anything I want to emulate from my mom it's her guts and her fighting spirit The last few days have been a roller coaster," Shilpa wrote.
She further concluded her post by thanking the doctors and hospital staff for taking good care of her mom and asking her Insta fam to keep her in their prayers. She wrote, "Please do keep Ma in your prayers till she makes a full recovery, my dearest #InstaFam Prayers work miracles."

Reacting to Shilpa's post, her younger sister Shamita Shetty said, "Our momie is the strongest love ya." Sophie Choudhry wrote, "Aunty is a Rockstar! She will be even stronger God willing! SUSHMITA SEN'S DOCTOR TREATED SHILPA SHETTY'S MOTHER
Let us tell you that Shilpa Shetty's mother was treated by the same cardiologist, Dr Rajeev Bhagwat, who treated actress Sushmita Sen, when she suffered a heart attack a few days ago. Sen informed her fans that she underwent an angioplasty procedure, following which she is on her recovery journey.
