Tiger Vs Pathaan: After the humongous success of Pathaan, YRF has been making sure that its ambitious spy universe gets bigger and better! Superstar Salman Khan was seen in a cameo role as a spy in Pathaan, and if you loved it, then we have good news for you.

The two actors will be seen reprising their respective roles as fictional Indian spies Pathaan and Tiger in YRF's upcoming film Tiger Vs Pathaan. Meanwhile, director Sidharth Anand has been roped in to direct both superstars.

SIDHARTH ANAND TO DIRECT SRK AND SALMAN KHAN IN TIGER VS PATHAAN

Seeing the response Pathaan received as it smashed all box office records, the makers have decided to go with another part of the actioner. A trade source was quoted by Deadline as saying, "Aditya Chopra has immense trust in Siddharth Anand to deliver a grand visual spectacle that has never been seen before with Tiger vs Pathaan."

Confirming the news, trade analyst Taran Adarsh also tweeted, BIGGG DEVELOPMENT... SALMAN KHAN - SHAH RUKH KHAN: SIDDHARTH ANAND TO DIRECT... #SalmanKhan and #ShahRukhKhan starrer #TigervsPathaan will be directed by #SiddharthAnand... Starts Jan 2024... Produced by #AdityaChopra. #YRF."

SRK-SALMAN TO REUNITE AFTER 28 YEARS

Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were seen together as main leads back in the 1995 movie Karan Arjun. The biggest superstars of Bollywood will again share screens together after 28 years in a full-fledged movie. Let us tell you that Shah Rukh and Salman have appeared in several films together, but neither of the two had large roles. Like in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, SRK was the lead, while Salman was seen in a special role. On the other hand, SRK was seen in a small cameo in Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega.

The source was further quoted by the international portal as saying, "Siddharth is getting a dream cast of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan coming together for their first full fledged film since Karan Arjun and Siddharth will also be given all the support he needs to mount Tiger vs Pathaan as the biggest film that India has ever produced."

YRF SPY UNIVERSE

Tiger Vs Pathaan will be the seventh movie in YRF's spy universe, followed by Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3, and War 2. Pathaan was the first film from the production house to have a crossover with Tiger, bringing the spy universe characters together. Meanwhile, RRR fame Tollywood actor Jr NTR has been roped in for a crucial role in War 2, and Ayan Mukerji will direct the movie. War is a 2019 action spy movie starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. The principal photography of Tiger vs Pathaan will begin in January 2024.
