Sidharth-Kaira Wedding: Bride Breaks Down In Tears As Mother & Brother Get Emotional During Vidaai Ceremony

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are officially man and wife now. The power couple, who have been dating each other for a while, have tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Jaisalmer. It was a grand ceremony which was attended by the couple's close friends and families. Several celebs were seen marking their presence at Sidharth and Kiara's wedding festivities. And while the couple has taken their nuptial vows, it is reported that Kiara had broken into tears during the vidaai ceremony.

According to a report published in Bollywood Life, Kiara's vidaai ceremony took place as per Punjabi and Sindhi traditions. It was an emotional moment for the ladkiwalas and it was reported that Kiara's mother Genevieve Advani and her brother Mishaal Advani got teary eyed during the ceremony. This left the bride overwhelmed and she broke into tears as well. Meanwhile, it is reported that Sidharth and Kiara will be flying to Delhi post their wedding festivities. The media reports also suggested that the couple will be having their wedding reception in Delhi on February 9 and it will be followed by a reception in Mumbai on February 12.

The media reports also stated that Sidharth's family has been quite excited about welcoming Kiara as their bahu. They had even given a special performance during the sangeet ceremony for the Shershaah couple. On the other hand, Kiara's brother Mishaal also dedicated a song to the couple during the sangeet ceremony.

Talking about the work front, Kiara Advani will be next seen in Satyaprem Ki Katha with Kartik Aaryan. The movie will mark her second movie with Kartik after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Besides, she has also been working on RC15 with Ram Charan. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra has joined Rohit Shetty's cop universe with Indian Police Force which also stars Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi in the lead.
