Sonakshi Sinha Ramayana Gaffe: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is no stranger to limelight. The actress who often makes with her versatile acting prowess, has garnered criticism as her old video from Kaun Banega Crorepati sets has resurfaced on social media.

During an episode of KBC season 11, Sonakshi Sinha appeared with a Rajasthani contestant. The duo were posed a question related to Ramayana, which they failed to answer. They were asked, "According to Ramayana, Hanuman fetched the Sanjeevani booti (herb) for whom?" They got confused between the four options, Sugriva, Lakshmana, Sita and Rama that were given to them. After which they took a lifeline to answer the question.

While, Sonakshi's gaffe attracted massive trolls on social media, even the host, Big B could not refrain himself from schooling the Dabang star. The video shows him saying, "Aapke pitaji ka naam hai Shatrughan, aap jis ghar me rehti hain, uska naam hai Ramayana. Aapke jitne chacha hain, wo sab Ramayan se sambandhit hain, Aapko ye nahi pata ki Lakshman ke liye laaye they jadibooti? (Your father and uncles names are derived from Ramayan, you live in a house called Ramayana. How you not know for whom did Hanuman bring Jadibooti?)"

To this, the actress replied, "Mujhe laga tha, lekin mai inke liye bahut nervous thi to chance nahi lena chahti thi (I thought it should be Lakshman but did not want to take any chance)."
The video also shows Sonakshi's mother Poonam Sinha sitting in the audience and laughing at the same.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha had reacted to trolls during an interaction with Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. She said, "I participated with a contestant named Ruma Devi. A question was asked to us on Sanjeevani Booti, and for a moment, both Ruma and I went blank. Honestly, it was a bit embarrassing, since we have grown up reading and watching Ramayana. But it was really long ago, and we all tend to have moments when we go blank. Since then, it has been five to six months, and it's disheartening that people still troll me over one honest mistake."
