Suhana Khan Gets Brutally Trolled After Lauding Alia Bhatt For Repeating Her Wedding Saree At National Awards

Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan has been the talk of the town and rightfully so. After all, she is all set to make her big Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar's much anticipated The Archies along with Agastya Nanda and Khushi Kapoor. The movie is set to release on Netflix in December and the fans can't keep calm about it. And while the team has begun promoting the film, Suhana Khan has been making headlines for her recent remarks about Alia Bhatt.

This happened during a promotional event wherein Suhana was quizzed about the youth's role in protecting the environment and she spoke about sustainable fashion by mentioning Alia Bhatt who repeated her wedding saree during the National Awards. Lauding Alia's decision, Suhana sung praises for her for giving out a 'much needed message'.

Suhana stated, "Alia wore her wedding saree again for the National Awards and I think as somebody with a platform, who has an influence, I thought that was incredible and a much-needed message. She (Alia) did that and she took a stand towards sustainibility. If Alia Bhatt can re-wear her wedding saree then we can also repeat an outfit for a party".

While her statement is going viral on social media, Suhana has been targetted on the micro-blogging site Twitter (now X) for the same. A Twitter user wrote, "Alia Bhatt single handedly contributed more to environment by waring her wedding saree 2 times. Star kids and their dumb statements never ending story #SuhanaKhan". Another user wrote, "Hard to imagine what struggles rich and elite people have to go through! Bhagwan mujhe gareeb hi rakhe".

Meanwhile, apart from making her acting debut with The Archies, Suhana is also making her singing debut with the Zoya Akhtar directorial as well. It is reported that she has lent her voice to the song Jab Tum Na Theen. The song has been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
