Sunny Leone On Mia Khalifa's Adult Industry Remark: Sunny Leone has made a name for herself in the Bollywood industry today, however, she had an illustrious career in the adult entertainment industry in the United States, before making it big in the Hindi cinema industry.

In a recent interview, the actor opened up about her past experiences and revealed her strategy of maintaining control over every project she undertook.

While Sunny revealed that she had no horror stories from her past experience, another former adult industry star, Mia Khalifa, recently made headlines by exposing the exploitative side of the industry.

Khalifa revealed that she earned a mere Rs 8.75 lakh from her projects. At the same time, the producers continue to rake in substantial profits from her videos even after her departure from the industry in 2015.

In her candid chat with Mid-Day, Sunny Leone addressed whether she faced a similar situation during her time in the adult film industry. Sunny replied, "No, not at all. I worked with the best people. I have no horror stories. I read through every contract and corrected every single clause, so I was gaining something from it. I was in control of every single thing that I was doing."

She further added, "I saw it as a business. I saw it as a means to get to something else. It wasn't free for all in my world. Everybody's experiences are different, mine was totally different."

When asked about Mia Khalifa's revelations, Sunny Leone expressed that she couldn't help but think that if Khalifa had thoroughly reviewed her contracts, she might have been able to avoid the exploitation she faced.

"I don't know how to say it nicely, but if you would have read your contract, you would not have been exploited because there are different things in a contract and you must read it," she reacted.

Meanwhile, Sunny made her Bollywood debut with 2012's Jism 2. Initially, she took on dance numbers and minor roles, but eventually, she landed a substantial role in Anurag Kashyap's film, Kennedy.

Kennedy recently premiered at the prestigious 75th Cannes Film Festival, where it received critical acclaim and a seven-minutes standing ovation.
