Sushant Singh Rajput Death Update: The death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14, 2020, sent shockwaves across the country. His circumstances around his tragic demise sparked controversy and triggered a series of investigations by various authorities.

It's been three years since Sushant's death, the agencies, however, have not reached a conclusion and are still investigating the death case. As per the latest update from CBI, the officials are waiting for a response from the social media giants in the US on some technical proofs.
CBI SHARES BIG UPDATE ON SUSHANT SINGH'S DEATH
A report in Hindustan Times suggests that the investigating agency sent a formal request to the headquarters of social media giants, Google and Facebook in 2021 based in California and requested them to share all the details of the deleted emails, chats, and posts of the late actor.
CBI wants to analyze the details to better understand what transpired due to which the actor reportedly committed suicide. As per the reports, India can access pieces of information from the US under the mutual legal assistance treaty (MLAT).
DEVENDRA FADNAVIS SHARES AN UPDATE ON SSR'S DEATH CASE
The latest update comes just a day after Deputy Chief Minister of Maharastra, Devendra Fadnavis' shared that the investigation into Sushant Singh Rajput's case is still underway. He told Republic, "At first, the information available was based on hearsay. However, some individuals asserted that they possessed substantial evidence regarding the case. In response, we reached out to them and requested that they submit the evidence to the police," he told Republic.
He further added, "Currently, we are in the process of examining the credibility of the presented evidence. The investigation is still in progress, and it would be premature for me to provide any comments on the case's eventual outcome at this stage."
