Noted lawyer and former Solicitor General of India Harish Salve got married for the third time on Monday at the age of 68. Salve and his new wife, Trina, hosted a reception party in London, which was attended by Lalit and Ujjwala.
While many images from the celebration made their way to social media, there was one photo that went viral on social media and featured the duo.
IPL founder and now fugitive Lalit Modi wore a formal suit, while Ujjwala Raut looked gorgeous in a lavender-hued gown. Both happily posed for a photo on the stairs.
The photograph generated massive speculation about the entrepreneur finding love again, and the pair was instantly hailed as a couple. Meanwhile, neither of them has confirmed the rumours about their relationship.
Who is Ujjawala Raut?
Born in 1978 to a cop-her father is a former Deputy Commissioner in Mumbai Police-Ujjawala is the original supermodel in India's fashion scenes from the 90s. She began her modelling career when she was just in her teens.
She was a commerce student when, in 1996, Ujjwala participated in Femina Miss India and won the title of "Femina Look of the Year". Ujjwala was just 17. In the same year, she also achieved a place in the top 15 of the 1996 Elite Model Look contest in France.
Besides gracing the runway for numerous esteemed international and national brands, she has also taken on the role of hosting various fashion pageants and shows.
Ujjwala Raut modelling and TV career
Ujjwala Raut was considered one of India's top models in the 1990s. She has walked the ramp for several international designers and labels, such as Yves Saint-Laurent, Roberto Cavalli, Hugo Boss, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, Givenchy, Valentino, Oscar de la Renta, and Emilio Pucci.
The model was also among the first Indians to walk for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which she did twice-in 2002 and 2003. She made her TV debut in 2012 as a judge on MTV Supermodel of the Year, alongside Milind Soman.
Ujjwala Raut's private life
She was formerly wed to Maxwell Sterry in 2004, with whom she shares a daughter named Ksha. However, they got divorced in 2011.
