Sushmita Sen heart attack: The Bollywood actress left her millions of fans from across the globe shocked when she said that she suffered a heart attack. The former Miss Universe revealed that she underwent an Angioplasty following the heart attack. On Thursday (March 2), the Main Hoon Na star penned a long note to share an update about her health on social media.
SUSHMITA SEN ON HEART ATTACK
The actress, who keeps on sharing updates about her daily life, posted a note to inform the fans about her heart attack. She mentioned that she suffered the attack a few days ago and had to undergo an Angioplasty. Sushmita Sen dropped a picture with her father, adding the wise words that he shared with her.
The tinsel town revealed that the cardiologist inserted a stent in her heart while performing the angioplasty.
What Sushmita Said?
Sushmita wrote, "Keep your heart happy & courageous, and it'll stand by you when you need it the most' (Wise words by my father sensubir). "I suffered a heart attack a couple of days back... Angioplasty done... Stent in place."
What Her Cardiologist Said?
Sushmita Sen mentioned what the cardiologist said following the angioplasty. She expressed her gratitude to the people, who stood by her when she suffered a heart attack.
"Most importantly, my cardiologist reconfirmed 'I do have a big heart. This post is just to keep you (my well wishers & loved ones) informed of the good news... that all is well & I am ready for some life again! I love you guys beyond! #godisgreat," she said.
When Sushmita Was Diagnosed With Addison's disease
Sushmita Sen, who made a power-packed comeback with Aarya, was diagnosed with the autoimmune condition called Addison's disease in the year 2014. She is supposed to take lifelong steroid drugs to manage the illness.
