Swara Bhasker, Fahad Ahmad wedding reception: Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker is currently enjoying her new married life with her longtime boyfriend, political activist Fahad Ahmad. They recently got married in a court ceremony under the Special Marriage Act on January 6, 2023, and went for a traditional Telugu wedding on March 13, 2023. The couple hosted a reception party, and pictures from the event have surfaced online, which are stunning. The court marriage was attended by the couple's close friends and family. Meanwhile, several prominent names from politics, including Jaya Bachchan, politicians Rahul Gandhi and Arvind Kejriwal, among others, blessed the couple.

To celebrate this new phase of their lives, Swara Bhasker and her husband Fahad Ahmad hosted a grand reception party at Delhi's Air Force Auditorium on March 16, 2023. Several eminent politicians were spotted attending the party, including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, former Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, and others. For the reception, Swara Bhasker opted for a red-coloured sequin lehenga that came with golden embroidery and crystal work all over the outfit. She paired the lehenga with a contrasting pink choli, a red dupatta with a broad border, and a pearl necklace. She also added matching earrings, a maang-teeka, and for makeup, the actress went for smokey eyes, nude lips, and a sleek open hairdo. Meanwhile, her hubby Fahad wore an ivory and golden-hued embroidered bandhgala outfit and paired it with a white pyjama.
Meanwhile, Swara's parents, C. Uday Bhaskar and Ira Bhaskar, also made a graceful appearance in contrasting outfits. Swara's father opted for a black suit, which he teamed with a light blue shirt and a red tie. Whereas her mother wore a traditional Kanjeevaram saree and accessorized it with gold jewelry, a big bindi, and a gun with gajra to complete her look.

Meanwhile, many must be confused as to why Swara Bhasker opted for a traditional Telugu wedding. She also flaunted the mangalsutra, which is called thali or Nallapoosalu in Telugu. For the unversed, Swara Bhasker's father, C. Uday Bhaskar, is of Telugu descent, while her mother, Ira Bhaskar, hails from Bihar. Therefore, Swara must have chosen to go to a wedding with Telugu customs from her father's side. On March 13, 2023, the Tanu Weds Manu actress shared some glimpses from her wedding, where she wore a silk red and gold-hued saree and completed her look with traditional south Indian ornaments and gajras.
Last month, while announcing her engagement with Fahad Ahmad, Swara took to Instagram and wrote, "Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart @FahadZirarAhmad It's chaotic but it's yours!"
