It has been a month of weddings in Bollywood, and the latest to join the group is actress Swara Bhasker. The celebrity got married in a private court ceremony to Fahad Ahmad, a Samajwadi Party leader, on February 16, amid the presence of her close family and friends. Sharing a montage video featuring some of the couple's adorable moments, Swara introduced her life partner to the world. Along with the video, she wrote, ''Sometimes you search far & wide for something that was right next to you all along. We were looking for love, but we found friendship first. And then we found each other! Welcome to my heart@FahadZirarAhmad It's chaotic but it's yours!''

The video showed some beautiful moments Swara and Fahad had spent together and how their love story began. However, it was quite obvious, given the actress' past and vocal nature, that she got trolled mercilessly for marrying a Muslim. Many took to Sawar's post's comment section and dropped negative and nasty comments. Some criticised her for her inter-religious marriage, while others made distasteful comments referencing Shraddha's case and even advised her to stay away from the fridge.

As soon as the news of Sawar Bhasker's wedding was out, netizens took the opportunity to troll her. Known for being outspoken and vocal about the political happenings in the country, Swara has voiced out her opinions on several significant things, such as the Karnataka hijab controversy and the CAA protest, among others. She has been trolled in the past for the same, and now the 34-year-old actress is being targeted for marrying a Muslim man.

The couple hosted a lunch party for their friends and also posed for paparazzi after tying the knot in a court marriage. Swara looked beautiful in a simple red saree, which she paired with a cream-coloured blouse. To complete her look, she opted for a choker necklace, matching earrings, and a maang teeka. Fawad, on the other hand, wore a simple red Nehru jacket, white pyjamas, and a kurta.
