The Archies Actor Aly Khan: Zoya Akhtar's most-awaited movie, The Archies premiered on Netflix on December 7. The teen romance drama marked the debut of Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan; Amitabh Bachchan's grandson, Agastya Nanda; the late Sridevi's daughter, Khushi Kapoor, along with others.

While the film has again stirred the debate of outsiders vs insiders, many users on social media have criticised the starkids for their off-putting performances.

Amid this, Pakistani actor Aly Khan, who played the role of Suhana's father in The Archies, is going viral, wherein he is talking about the debutant cast of the film and how hard they prepared for their roles.

A video of actor Aly Khan's old interview was doing the rounds on the internet. Khan in the clip was seen talking about working on the then-ongoing project, The Archies, and also revealed how he felt working the starkids.

Revealing how Zoya trained the starcat of the film, Aly said, "Jo main project karke aa raha hu, wo ek launch project hai, star ke bachcho ko lekar. Usmein Amitabh Bachchan ke jo grandson hai, Shweta ke bete wo lead hai, usmein Shah Rukh ki beti lead hai, usmein Sridevi ki beti hai. Star kids hai sarein. Zoya ne inko ek saal workshop karaya hai camera ke samne laane se pehele, samaj rahe hai nah aap, ek saal."

In the same interview, he went on to add what all happened in the workshop. He also mentioned that if the celebrity kids couldn't perform well despite the log training, it would be very shameful.

"Toh aap ek saal t-shirt aur shorts mein without any pressure, no press, no publicity, no cameras, sirf choreographer ke saath, sirf fight master ke saath, sirf dialogue coach ke saath. Toh jab ek saal ki mehenat ke baad aap camera ke samne ayenge agar aap razor blaze ki tarah sharp nhi honge toh phir toh lanat hai aap par," he added.
