Adah Sharma Accident: Adah Sharma, who is basking in the glory of her latest release, The Kerala Story, has reportedly met with an accident. Amid receiving accolades for her strong performance in the film, the news of Adah being injured along with director Sudipto Sen has caused great concern among people.

The film's crew was supposed to attend the Hindu Ekta Yatra in Karimnagar, but the event was called off after the accident. On Sunday, Adah took to social media to update her fans on her health.

Soon, the news about Bollywood actress Adah Sharma's accident went viral on social media. She took to her Twitter account to share an update on her health. She informed her fans that she and the film's team are doing "fine" and also thanked them for their concerns.

"I'm fine guys. Getting a lot of messages because of the news circulating about our accident. The whole team ,all of us are fine, nothing serious, nothing major but thank you for the concern," she tweeted. Have a look here.

Director Sudipto too shared an update on her Twitter handle, saying that they couldn't attend the event following a medical emergency. He wrote, "Thank u so much for ur concerns about our health. We are overwhelmed with ur calls & warm messages. Just wanted to tell u - we r now absolutely fine. Tom we'll resume our promotional events. Pls continue supporting us. Love & light."

Adah Sharma has been receiving death threats amid the ongoing controversy surrounding The Kerala Story, as the movie is facing backlash from a section of groups and political parties who claim that it is not entirely based on facts. Many have claimed that the film promotes hatred for Muslims. The film has been banned in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.

The Kerala Story was released on May 5 and has grossed over 100 crore within two weeks of its release. The film revolves around three women from Kerala who were converted to Islam and trafficked to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). It is produced by Vipul Shah and directed by Sudipto Sen.
