Kangana Ranaut Opens Up On The Kerala Story Controversy: A Sudipto Sen film, headlined by Adah Sharma, The Kerala Story is mired in controversies ever since the makers unveiled the trailer of the film. The movie hit the theaters on May 5 and has received mixed reviews from movie-goers.

The Kerela Story was released in theaters amid massive protests. People called out the film for factual inaccuracies and termed it as 'propaganda'. The film's controversy has garnered reactions from people all across and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is the latest actor who has reacted to the controversy.

HERE'S WHAT KANGANA RANAUT SAID ABOUT THE FILM 'THE KERALA STORY' CONTROVERSY

Kangana voiced her opinion in support of the film and asserted that anyone who feels attacked by the film is a terrorist.

During an event at ABP's Majha Maha Katta, the Queen actress said, "See, I have not watched the film, but a lot of effort has gone into trying to ban it. I read it today; correct me if I am wrong, High Court has said that the film cannot be banned. I think it's not showing anybody in a bad light except ISIS, right? They are right if the HC, the country's most responsible body, is saying this. ISIS is a terrorist organization. It's not like I am calling them terrorists; our country, the Home Ministry (Ministry of Home Affairs), and other countries have called them so."

She further added, "Agar aap aisa samjhte hai ki woh terrorists organisation nahi hai toh zaheer si baat hai phir aap bhi terrorist hi hai. Agar aap sochte hai ek terrorist outfit, ek terrorist nahi hai, aur usko terrorist ghoshit kiya gya hai, legally, morally by every standard aur aapko lagta hai woh terrorist nahi hai toh more than the film you are a bigger problem you should first think about where you stand in life (If you think ISIS is not a terrorist outfit despite its declaration then you are also a terrorist),"

Kangana further pointed out, "I am talking about those people who think it's attacking them, not ISIS. If you think it's attacking you then you are a terrorist. Maine kuch nahi kaha bhai, ye simple maths hai (I am not saying this)."

ABOUT THE KERALA STORY

The Sudipto Sen directorial stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, and Sonia Balani in pivotal roles. The story depicts the tale of Fathima Ba (Adah Sharma), a Hindu Malayali nurse who is among the 32,000 women who disappeared from Kerala, was forced to convert to Islam, and was later recruited by ISIS.
