JNU SCREENING OF THE KERALA STORY
Due to the ongoing controversy, moviegoers are eagerly awaiting to watch it. On Tuesday at 4 pm, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) organized a screening of The Kerala Story at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi.
Currently, several photos and videos from the JNU screening are currently doing the rounds on the internet. Amid all this, the very first review of The Kerala Story is finally out. Recently, a Twitter user shared the film's review and called it an 'eye opener'.
FIRST REVIEW OF THE KERALA STORY
Sharing her views about The Kerala Story, she wrote. "Subjected to gruesome activities by the terror outfits, the story of these girls is an eye-opener for many to stay vigilant and recognise the threat. Passing it off as propaganda, it's a shame that these parties don't value the lives of young girls. Doesn't change the reality of the gruesome crime they've committed. Ladies, please watch #TheKeralaStory"

THE KERALA STORY CONTROVERSY
As mentioned above, the movie's focus is on forced religious conversion and supposedly asserts that roughly 32,000 women from Kerala were converted to Islam, with many of them transported to Syria during the peak of ISIS' power. Amid criticism, The Kerala Story trailer has now been changed from being the story of 32,000 women to that of 3 girls.
After the trailer was released, a petition was submitted to the Supreme Court requesting a postponement of its release, citing allegations of "extreme hate speech" and "audio-visual propaganda."
On Tuesday, the Supreme Court dismissed the appeal, with the judges stating, "There are various types of hate speech. This movie has been certified and approved by the board."
