Deepika
Padukone

In

such
show
of
love
towards
her,
one
of
her

for
Deepika

reel,
where
he
can
be
seen
sitting
on
a
chair
with
a
mix
of
excitement
and
nervousness
racing
through
his
veins
as
the
buzzing
sound
of
the
tattoo
needle
filled
the
air.
He
couldn't
help
but
smile
as
he
looked
down
at
the
brand-new
tattoos
on
his
arm
and
took
in
the

Who
doesn't
remember
Kareena
Kapoor's
character
Poo,
aka
Pooja,
from
Kabhi
Khushi
Kabhie
Gham?
It's
been
22
years
since
the
iconic
character
was
played
by
Kareena,
which
continues
to
remain
one
of
the
most
loved
ones
as
well.
Meanwhile,
oftentimes,
the
question
is
asked:
Will
Poo
ever
appear
on
screen
again?
Kareena,
in
an
exclusive
conversation
with
News18,
said
that
she
wants
Poo
to
be
left
untouched.
Saying
that
she
is
not
open
to
the
idea
of
a
spin-off
of
her
character,
Kareena
said,
"Never.
As
you
said,
Poo
was
truly
an
iconic
character.
Some
characters
need
to
remain
untouched
and
loved
for
what
it
was.
I
don't
think
it
can
be
touched,
I
don't
think
it
should
be
and
nobody
can
play
Poo."
PRIYANKA
CHOPRA
REVEALS
HER
DUSKY
SKIN
WAS
LIGHENED
IN
MANY
FILMS
Desi
girl
Priyanka
Chopra
has
been
making
shocking
revelations
on
the
new
episodes
of
the
actor-filmmaker
Dax
Shepard
podcast,
Armchair
Expert.
Talking
about
her
early
days
in
Bollywood,
Chopra
described
how
her
skin
tone
was
lightened
in
several
movies.
Sharing
her
experience,
Priyanka
added
that
lighter-skinned
heroines
had
more
advantage
and
said,
"When
I
joined
the
movie
business,
if
you
were
fair
you
were
guaranteed
some
form
of
success
or
casting
but
if
you
were
darker,
I'm
not
even
that
dark,
for
darker
girls
it
was,
'let's
lighten
you
up.'"
Recalling
an
incident,
Chopra
said,
"I
was
lightened
up
in
many
movies.
Through
make-up
and
then
blasting
lighting.
There
was
a
song
which
I
still
remember.
It
was
called
Chitti
Dudh
Kudi
which
means
a
girl
who
is
as
white
as
milk
and
I
ain't
that
but
I
was
playing
her
and
I
was
really
lightened
up
in
the
movie."
SHARMILA
TAGORE
ON
PLAYING
A
GAY
CHARACTER
IN
GULMOHAR
Veteran
actress
Sharmila
Tagore,
who
recently
returned
to
acting
after
13
years
with
Disney+
Hotstar's
family
drama
Gulmohar,
recently
opened
up
about
playing
a
gay
character.
Admitting
that
she
was
nervous,
Sharmila
said
she
was
surprised
to
see
the
audience's
reaction.
Speaking
to
Roger
Ebert.com
about
it,
Sharmila
said,
"[I
felt]
a
little
bit
of
apprehension,
but
the
way
they
have
dealt
with
it
in
the
script
is
very
subtle,
not
in
your
face.
And
I've
been
surprised,
really.
The
audience
has
really
accepted
it.
They're
okay
with
it.
It's
not
being
underlined,
or
underscored,
or
an
in-your-face
kind
of
statement.
It's
kind
of
an
internal
evolution
of
a
person.
So
it's
at
that
level."
