‘They Said You Shouldn’t Have…’: Triptii Dimri Reveals Her Parents’ Reaction To Her Intimate Scenes In Animal

Triptii Dimri, renowned for her stellar performances in films like Bulbbul and Qala, has been making waves with her compelling role in 'Animal,' alongside Ranbir Kapoor. However, her on-screen chemistry has not only garnered applause but also sparked curiosity about how her parents reacted to the intimate scenes in the film.
During an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Triptii revealed the same and mentioned that her parents were taken aback by the intimate scenes. She confessed, "My parents got a little taken aback. We have never seen something like this in films and you have done it. They were very sweet to me though. They were like, 'You shouldn't have done that but it's okay. As parents, we will obviously feel this.'"
She further elaborated, "And I told them I am not doing anything wrong. It's my job, and as long as I am comfortable and safe, I don't see any problem in that. I am an actor, and I have to be 100 per cent honest with the characters that I play, and I did that."
Earlier, Triptii had revealed how director Sandeep Reddy Vanga had thoroughly discussed the intimate scenes with her before she signed onto the project.
According to the actress, Vanga expressed his vision of creating a "Beauty and the Beast" aesthetic, ensuring that the scenes would be artistically captivating.
Triptii recalled, "While signing the project, Sandeep told me that there's a scene and I want to shoot it this way, but I will make it look aesthetically amazing. I want to create a Beauty and the Beast kind of image. And this is what I have. I leave it up to you, whether you're comfortable or not comfortable, you let me know, we'll work around it is what he told me... So, when I saw the references, I was like 'Wow, it's an important moment between the two characters. That made me comfortable."
