Urvashi Rautela Files Case Against Film Critic Umair Sandhu For Defaming Her; Fans Say ‘Well Done'

Urvashi Rautela Akhil Akkenini: Bollywood's youngest actress, Urvashi Rautela, who always gets the limelight for some reason or another, has recently filed a defamation case against a self-proclaimed UAE-based film critic. Umair, who is quite popular for tweeting baseless allegations about celebrities, was called out by the actress for spreading false news about her.

Urvashi took to her Instagram handle on Sunday and responded to a tweet in which Umair Sandhu made false allegations against her and her Telugu movie co-star Akhil Akkineni. In his tweet, he claimed that the actress was harassed by Akhil on the sets of her upcoming film, Agent.

The alleged fake news that Umair Sandhu had tweeted, about Urvashi Rautela and Akhil Akkineni read,"#AkhilAkkineni "harassed" Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela during the soot of Agent in Europe. As per her, He is a very immature kind of actor & feeling uncomfortable working with him."

The news is going viral like wildfire on the internet. And now Urvashi and her legal team have sent a notice to the person and posted the same on social media.

Urvashi bashed the journalist Umair over his false tweet, expressed that she and her family were upset over the tweet, and shared, "Defamation legal notice has been served by my legal team. Definitely disgruntled by indecent journalist like you for your spurious / ridiculous tweets. You're not my official spokesperson. And yes you're very immature kind of a journalist who made me & my family extremely uncomfortable"

This is certainly one of the most baseless and false claims ever made about any actor. Fans hailed the actress for taking a stand for herself and supported her in her actions. Many others supported her for not only calling out Umair Sandhu but also taking action against him.
