Varun Mitra On Kangana Ranaut: Varun Mitra, who got his breakthrough in Bollywood with Jalebi in 2018 opposite Rhea Chakraborty, has evolved not only as a skilled actor but also ventured into the digital space, delivering some hard-hitting and edgy performances.
He was recently seen in Amazon Mini TV's movie Rakshak - India's Brave, which was based on the life of army personnel Lieutenant Triveni Singh, who saved the lives of more than 300 civilians during a terrorist attack at the Jammu Tawi railway station.
While Varun has been garnering immense praise from all corners for his commendable performance, he will next be seen opposite Kangana Ranaut in her upcoming ambitious project, Tejas, in which he will play the role of her love interest.
Recently, in a chat with Filmibeat, the actor opened up about working with the 'Queen' actress and about his role.

He further pointed out that "She is like any other actor on set who is hungry to do the take well. And when she's not satisfied, she goes back, does it again, and tries something else. To sum it up, it was a really professional and warm experience."

Revealing a little detail about his character in Tejas, Varun told us, "I play the character of a musician, and it was a special experience to have Arijit Singh's voice paired to my visual after Jalebi."
"Other than that, the set was very chilled out. Sarvesh, the director, is a lovely guy. We got along really well, and we were pretty much on the same page as far as my character was concerned," he added.
Billed as 'India's first aerial action movie,' Tejas is directed by Sarvesh Mewara and is set to hit theatres this Durga Puja on October 20, 2023.
