Vicky and Katrina dated briefly before tying the knot in Rajasthan in 2021, and recently, the Zara Hatke Zara Bachke actor opened up about his dating phase with Kat, how he fell in love with her, and his initial inhibitions.

Vicky Kaushal Felt Odd After Getting Attention From Katrina Kaif

Vicky Kaushal recently appeared on We Are Yuvaa's Be A Man Yaar episode and got candid about his relationship with his wife, actor Katrina Kaif. Talking about how he and the Tiger 3 stars came close, Vicky said he was in disbelief when Katrina started giving him attention.

Mentioning that when he came closer to her, he understood her most endearing quality, which was her compassion towards others.

Vicky revealed that the initial attention from Katrina made him feel odd. He said, "First, I used to feel odd getting attention from her. I used to be like, 'Hain? Are you ok?' She was a phenomenon. Shuru shuru mein obviously ye lagta tha, 'Why me?'"

He added, "But she is a lovely human being and once I got to spend time with her, got to know Katrina Kaif, the human being, I realised I had never met a person like her. I have never heard her say anything ill about anyone. She is very compassionate about the people around her, about the environment she is in, and that, for me, is like my biggest turn-on."

Vikcy Kaushal talks about how he fell in love with Katrina Kaif

The Sardar Udham actor then stated that he had doubts about himself before approaching Katrina. He said, "I have had trouble coming to that reality that I can." Admitting that he never fell for her because of her superstardom status.

"The factors were never the reason why I fell in love with her. Why I fell in love with her is because when I got to know the human part of her, the person she is, I was just fully in love. I knew that I would love to have her as my life companion," the actor said.

Further, he also revealed that their relationship began after he asked her out for dinner over text.

Vicky was last seen in Zara Hatka Zara Bachke with Sara Ali Khan. He is looking forward to the release of The Great Indian Family and Sam Bahadur. Katrina is a part of Salman Kahn's Tiger 3, which is releasing this Diwali.
