Vijay Varma Had Apprehensions About Forming A Connection With GF Tamannaah Bhatia; Actor Reveals Reason

Vijay Varma Tamannaah Bhatia: Actors Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia are the newest couple in Bollywood, grabbing all the attention for their romantic relationship and scintillating on-screen chemistry.

They are set to appear together in Lust Stories 2, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, and are currently engaged in promotional activities for the film with the media.

After staying quiet over their relationship rumours for a while, the couple is now openly speaking about it, and in a recent conversation with a leading media house, the duo candidly spoke about their equation and the experience of working together in Lust Stories 2.

Vijay Varma reveals if he was worried about connecting with Tamannaah Bhatia

Speaking to Pinkvilla in an exclusive interview, Vijay Varma revealed that he had reservations about whether he would be able to establish a connection with Tamannaah Bhatia. Saying that Tamannaah is one of the biggest superstars down south, Vijay shared, "She is like one of the biggest superstars we have, there are temples made for her."

He added, "So I was wondering if I would be able to connect with her, but she is very simple, very down to earth, and would get happy with a samosa pav. She is not a sushi and an avocado kind of person. So I was like this is fascinating."

Vijay then stated that it was easy to connect with Tamannaah and added that she, as a human, has a lot of warmth and simplicity.

"We had some scenes which were very complicated - emotionally and choreography wise. But I was able to do it easily because I had great support from her and great support from Sujoy. So I feel like we made a great team," shared Vijay.Tamannaah Bhatia talks about what annoys her about Vijay Varma

Further, when the interviewer asked Vijay about one annoying thing about his girlfriend, before he could answer, Tamannaah jumped into the scene and said, "I'll tell you what annoys me about him. His performances are better in the bytes that he gives than most people give in their careers."

"So itni achi acting mat karo, bakiyon ko chance do. What is this extra good performance, what are we supposed to do? (laughs). That's the first thing Sujoy and I discussed - we were like 'damn good actor, damn good actor'," she added.

Lust Stories 2 is the second installment of an anthology of four stories of the same name. The four stories are directed by ace directors Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh. The film explores concepts of modern-day relationships and the different levels of intricacies associated with them.

Meanwhile, apart from Vijay Varma and Tamannaah, the other cast members include Kajol, Mrunal Thakur, Angad Bedi, Tillotama Shome, Amruta Subhash, Neena Gupta, and Kumud Mishra. Lust Stories 2 will start streaming from June 29 on Netflix.
