Vivek Agnihotri Recalls Ranveer Singh Thanked Him For Support During N*de Photoshoot Row: Mere Pav Chhu Liye

Vivek Agnihotri Ranveer Singh: Actor Ranveer Singh grabbed headlines last year when he posed nude for a photoshoot with Paper Magazine, which went viral. It stirred a wave of controversy and debates online, while the Padmavat actor was massively trolled for the same.
Ranveer flaunted his chiselled body, leaving the people raging, and several hilarious memes were also made. However, the photos got him into trouble, as complaints were lodged against the actor as it was deemed against Indian culture and 'hurting women's sentiments.'
Well, half a year after the case, filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri revealed that Ranveer Singh touched his feet during an award show, thanking him for his support during that time. Let us tell you that Agnihotri openly supported Ranveer during the row and had termed the FIR 'stupid'.

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble in an interview, The Kashmir Files director revealed, "Ranveer Singh met me in one award show somewhere and everybody thought that Oh My God maybe there is going to be a conflict, and Ranveer may say why do you say things about Bollywood and all."
He then added, "He came and hugged me. Usne mere pav chhu liye public mein sabke samne (He touched my feet in front of everyone). I never told anybody. In fact, I told everybody not to put that video out in case if somebody had shot. He said 'Sir, when my nude picture came, you were the only person from the film industry who supported me openly and publicly'. But the problem is these kind of things go unnoticed."
In the same interview, Vivek opened up about remarks on Ranveer's wife, actor Deepika Padukone, and Shah Rukh Khan's song Besharan Rang. He shared a video of a young girl criticising the makers of Pathaan for spreading vulgarity with the song. The video has been deleted now.
Talking about the trolls he faced at the time, he said, "I feel sad for them. Seriously, I feel sad for them because to evolve, to change is a human nature."
On Independence Day, Vivek Agnihotri took to X, formerly Twitter, and announced the release date of his upcoming movie, The Vaccine War, which is India's first bio-science film. He also shared a teaser for the movie.
On the other hand, Ranveer Singh was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, opposite Alia Bhatt. He will next be seen in Don 3.
