Who Is Bhojpuri Actress Suman Kumari? Laila Majnu Star Arrested For Forcing Aspiring Models into Prostitution

Prostitution Racket: The crime branch of Mumbai police arrested a Bhojpuri actress, named Suman Kumari for allegedly running a prostitution racket. The accused was an agent who used to force aspiring models into prostitution. The police even rescued three models who were trapped, when the raid was conducted.

Suman was caught red-handed by the investigating team of the Mumbai Police after the cops raided a Goregaon hotel post receiving a tip-off.

A report in Midday suggests that a team of Mumbai Police sent dummy customers to Suman, who charged Rs 50k to Rs 80k for one girl. The dubby customer asked to send three girls to the hotel Royal Palm in Goregaon's Aarey Colony. And then Suman was nabbed red-handed by the police.

Who Is Suman Kumari?

The accused Suman Yadav, also known as Suman Kumari Tetu Gopi, is known for her work in several Bhojpuri films. She has been featured in several movies including Laila Majnu, Jomestic Box, Baap Numbari Beta 10 Numbari and also a few Bhojpuri web series.

The 24 years old Bhojpuri actress has been featured in several Hindi and Punjabi music albums as a lead. The police report suggests that Suman has been residing in Mumbai for the last six years.

She was arrested on Friday (April 21) by the crime branch of the Mumbai police for forcing aspiring models into prostitution. A report in AajTak even suggests that she used to take advantage of the customers' financial instability while dealing with them and forced the models to sign a contract.

Meanwhile, a similar incident was reported last week, when police arrested a television actress named Aarti Mittal from Goregaon for running a prostitution racket. Aarti was accused of running a prostitution racket inside the film industry.

The actor-casting director Aarti was caught red-handed in a raid when an undercover police officer posed as a customer. Aarti was a part of several daily soaps including Appnapan - Badalate Rishton Ka Bandhan, Na Umra Ki Seema Ho, Dharampatni, and Yeh Hai Chahatein, among several others.
