Ashish Vidyarthi Ruplai Barua Wedding: 60-year-old veteran actor Ashish Vidyarthi tied the knot once again with Rupali Barua on Thursday, May 25, in an intimate ceremony. The couple also hosted a formal reception after their wedding.
Ashish is known for working in several regional language films, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and others. Vidyarthi was earlier married to Rajoshi Barua, who is the daughter of yesteryear's actress Shakuntala Barua.
VETERAN ACTOR ASHISH VIDYARTHI MARRIES AGAIN
Vidyarthi's now-wife, Rupali, is from Guwahati, and the duo had a registry marriage amid the presence of their close family and friends. It was a beautiful blend of two different Indian cultures as Rupali mesmerised in a white and golden Mekhela Chador from Assam. Ashish, on the other hand, wore a Mundu from Kerala.
Talking about getting married at the age of 60, Ashish told TOI, "At this stage of my life, getting married to Rupali is an extraordinary feeling. We had a court marriage in the morning, followed by a get-together in the evening."
Meanwhile, when asked about how he met Rupali, the actor shared, "We met some time ago and decided to take it forward. But both of us wanted our wedding to be a small family affair."
WHO IS RUPALI BARUA?
Ashish Vidyarthi's second wife, Rupali Barua, hails from Assam and is a fashion entrepreneur. She has been associated with an upscale fashion store in Kolkata.
When asked what attracted her to the actor, who is known for doing dark and villainous roles in the film industry, Rupali told the media outfit, "He is a beautiful human being and a great soul to be with."
ASHISH VIDYARTHI ON THE WORK FRONT
Assish Vidyarthi is a familiar face in Indian cinema. He has worked in over 300 films in 11 languages and has also won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his debut film, Drohkaal, in 1995.
At present, he runs a YouTube channel with more than a million subscribers in which he vlogs about food, besides acting in films and series.
He was recently in Netflix's crime web-series Rana Naidu, featuring Venkatesh Daggubati, Rana Daggubati, and Surveen Chawla, and Trial By Fire.
