AAMIR KHAN, IRA KHAN SPREAD AWARNESS ON MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES
The video began with Aamir Khan and Ira Khan drawing parallels between seeking professional help for mental health. The actor says, "Zindagi mein aise bohot saare kaam hai jo hum khud nahi kar paate. Jisme humme kisi aur vyakti ki madad lagti hai, jo yeh kaam jaanta hai. Aur yeh faisle hum badi asaani se le lete hai, begair kisi sharam ke, begair kisi jhijak ki (There are a lot of things in life that we cannot do ourselves. For that we need the help of others, someone who knows how to do that job. And we take these decisions so easily, without any shame or hesitation)."
Ira further emphasizes that just as people seek medical help when they are physically unwell, they should reach out to trained professionals when they are facing mental health challenges. She stressed that there should be no shame in seeking help for mental health concerns.
Aamir concludes by saying, "Aur doston meri beti Ira aur main pichle kayi saalon se therapy ka laabh utah rahe hai (Friends, I and my daughter have been benefitting from therapy for years now). So if you are going through stress or any kind of tension, reach out for help from trained professionals. There is no shame in that. All the best." Check out the video.
