Meanwhile, with Yaariyan 2, Divya Khosla Kumar is returning to the director's seat after seven long years with the film, which is slated to release on October 20, 2023. Divya Khosla Kumar who made her direction debut with Yaariyan also helmed the 2016 film, Sanam Re, which starred Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam, and Urvashi Rautela in pivotal roles.

Also, Yaariyan 2 will feature Meezan Jafri, Warina Hussain, Pearl V Puri, Anaswara Rajan, and Priya Prakash Varrier. The Malayalam film actress, Priya is making her Bollywood debut with this film. The film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Kumar Khosla, Krishan Kumar, and Aayush Malhotra.
