Yaariyan 2’s Composer Manan Bhardwaj On Pressure Of Recreating Yaariyan’s Magic: Maine Kabhi Compare…. | EXCL

Remember the 2014 release Yaariyan starring Himansh Kohli and Rakul Preet Singh? The romantic comedy was a decent hit and the music of the film was quite popular among the fans. And now, almost a decade later, the makers have come up with the sequel of the movie as Yaariaan 2 and it has been creating a massive buzz among the audience.

Starring Meezan Jafri, Divya Koshla Kumar and Pearl V Puri, Yaariyan 2 is set to release on October 6 and the songs have already been creating massive buzz among the audience. So far, every song in the movie has managed to win hearts. And while there has been a constant comparison between Yaariyan and Yaariyan 2, the latter's music composer Manan Bhardwaj got candid about the same during an exclusive conversation with Filmibeat.

During the conversation when Manan was quizzed about the pressure for meeting the benchmark set by Yaariyan, the ace singer-lyricist-music composer said, "Bilkul pressure feel nahi hua. I was so lost in the work ki pta hi nahi chala kab music ban gaya. Jab mujhe first script mili thi yaariyaan 2 ki, to mere paas bs ek gana aaya tha and i didn't even know ki wo yaariyaan 2 ka song hai. mere paas situation aayi thi and maine gana bna dia and wo bht jaldi crack ho gaya. Wo crack hua then dusra aa gaya and so on. Maine actually kabhi yaariyan ke saath compare kara hi nahi to nervous hone ka sawal hi nahi uthta".

He further got candid about the music of Yaariyan 2 and stated, "Yaariyaan 2 me har insaan ke liye koi na koi gaana zarur hoga. Aap kisi bhi emotion me hai aapka jaisa bhi music pasand hai aapko light hearted music pasand, hai upbeat numbers pasand hai, punjabi numbers pasand hai, har ek listner ke liye kuch na kuch hai Yaariyaan 2 me. I am lucky ki mujhe puri album karne ko mili hai".

Interestingly, Manan also got candid about Saure Ghar and revealed the personal connection he had with the song. "Mere paas ek situation aayi thi ki behen bhaiyon ke gana banana hai, 2 bhai hain apni behen ko bol rahe hain. Iskle liye main pura nostalgia me gaya ki main apni behen ke liye kya sochta tha, main apni behen ko kaise chedta tha, maine ek tarah se revisit karit this apni sister ki marriage," he was quoted saying.
