Zareen Khan Hospitalized Due to Dengue; Actress Shares Health Update

Zareen Khan Hospitalised: Bollywood actress Zareen Khan has been hospitalized due to a bout of dengue fever. The actress, who enjoys a massive social media following took to Instagram to share her health update.

In a rather disheartening update, Zareen Khan who made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan's 2010 film Veer has been reportedly grappling with a high fever and severe body aches, common symptoms of dengue infection.
She took to Instagram to update her fans with a picture that shows her receiving IV fluids in a hospital setting. While she did not reveal her face in the picture, the caption "#LifeUpdate" provided a glimpse into her current health status.

Earlier on Wednesday, August 16, Zareen took to her Instagram story to share a snapshot of a glass filled with juice, along with the caption "#RecoveryMode."

This news comes at a time when the cases due to vector-borne diseases are on a rise in the country, thus emphasizing on the need for strict precautionary measures. The actress's fans and well wishers are sending her wishes for a speedy recovery!

Meanwhile, over the years, Zareen has carved a niche for herself in the Hindi film industry. She has featured in films including Wajah Tum Ho, Ready, Veerappan, and 1921 among others.

Her most recent appearance was in the film Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele, and she also featured in the music video Eid Ho Jayegi, released in 2022.

Recently, the actress opened up on how constant comparison with Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif didn't give her a chance to prove herself. Opening up on the same, Zareen told a Reddit user, "So when I entered this industry, I was literally like a lost child, since I don't come from a filmy background. So it made me feel really happy being compared to Katrina as I was her fan too, and found her really pretty. But it backfired on my career as the people of this industry didn't give me a chance to prove my individuality."
