120 Bahadur: Farhan Akhtar is back again in acting amid the uncertainty of his upcoming films Jee Le Zara and War 3, where he was all set to take the seat in director's chair. The actor took to Instagram to share the details all about his upcoming project breaking the news to his fans. A few days ago, Farhan has shared a peek of his shooting schedule in Ladakh that sparked speculations on whether he is working on Don 3 or Jee Le Zara.

Farhan Akhtar Announces Upcoming Film 120 Bahadur

On Wednesday, Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram to share the update on his upcoming film based on Rezang La war. He is returning to acting to play the role of Major Shaitan Singh. Taking to Instagram, he wrote by thanking the family members of Major, "My deepest gratitude to the family of Maj Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC for trusting me with his portrayal. Your love and support means the world to us."

Who Is Major Shaitan Singh?

Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, was an Param Vir Chakra awardee, who joined Jodhpur State Forces in his early career. He was later become the major of 13 Kumaon regiment and played a pivotal role in Rezang La battle in Ladakh during the Indo China war in 1962. Sharing the note, Farhan Akhtar wrote, "It is a story of remarkable courage, heroism and selflessness shown by our men in uniform against all odds.We are grateful to the Indian Army for their support in bringing this incredible tale of valour to the screen. We embark today to make this film in all humility and with utmost respect to those we represent."
