When Shahbaz Khan was asked about his character in his upcoming film 'A Real Encounter', the actor said, "This is a fiction film but it has been made inspired by a real incident. I play an encounter specialist named Arjun Ranade and the challenges that policemen have to face during encounters and how the system turns against them and how they have to respond is also one aspect. The other aspect is that parents should keep an eye on their children, this is the age of social media. Sometimes we meet wrong people on social media. It is important to avoid such things. This is the message."

Talking about his working experience with veteran actors Raza Khan and Mushtaq Khan, Shahbaz emphasized that when someone works with people they have a personal relationship with, it reflects on the performance as well. Khan also mentioned that despite hailing from a family of musicians, he couldn't continue music after the death of his father in his childhood.

Talking about his favourite actor from the current generation, he stated, "All are good actors, but the actors of our time used to look like heroes. Be it Vinod Khanna, Feroz Khan or Amitabh Bachchan sahab, Dharam ji. They used to look like heroes. Heroes of today are good actors but I miss their screen presence as a viewer. Currently Akshay and Ajay have screen presence, but the new actors who have come should also work a little on their personality development."

Before wrapping up, Shahbaz Khan mentioned that he likes playing negative characters as they are more challenging. "There is nothing special about playing a positive role. Playing a negative role is more challenging," Khan said.
