Exclusive! Ahsaas Channa Reveals She Auditioned For Laapataa Ladies, "I Was In The Top 2"

Ahsaas Channa is currently one of the biggest names on OTT. She started her career as a child actor and did many popular films like My Friend Ganesh, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Phoonk, and others. The actress was recently seen in Kota Factory season 3, and received praises for her performances in it.

Filmibeat recently interacted with Ahsaas and she revealed that though she is doing OTT, she dreams of becoming a big screen heroine. When asked her if she has a list of filmmakers, she wishes to work with, Ahsaas said, "It is my dream to work with Imtiaz Ali, I love Jab We Met; I have watched all his films. I have watched all Zoya Akhtar films."

She further revealed that she had auditioned for Laapataa Ladies, "I had recently watched Laapataa Ladies and I had auditioned for it as well. I had met Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan, auditioned with them. I was in the top 2, but that didn't happen. However, the film is incredible. The girl, who plays Jaya, I had auditioned for that character."

"Pratibha has done a great job. So, I really want to work with Kiran Rao. I was almost going to work with her, so I really wish that I get a chance to work with her. And many more directors! I want to work with Chaitanya Tamhane, He is the director of Court and The Disciple. He is an incredible director. There's a list and it is never ending," the actress added.

Ahsaas Channa's Upcoming Projects

Ahsaas will next be seen in Mismatched season 3 and she is shooting for Half CA. Everyone is very excited to watch her in Mismatched 3 as in season 2 she just had a cameo. It is clearly one of the most awaited series of the year. So, let's wait and watch what role Ahsaas will have this time.
