Exclusive! Amar Kaushik On Akshay Kumar's Sky Force Being Postponed, "Sabar Ka Phal Meetha Hota Hai!"

Akshay Kumar starrer Sky Force is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie was slated to release this year on 2nd October, but it has been postponed. Fans of Akshay were super excited about the film, but as the film has been delayed, the wait has become a bit long. Filmibeat recently interacted with Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik who is also the producer of the film.

When asked him about how Sky Force has turned out to be, the filmmaker said, "You watch the film; Akshay sir has done a very good job in it. The movie is very tight and gripping. You will enjoy while watching it."

Talking about the film being postponed, Amar said, "Sabar ka phal meetha hota hai! We are taking the bar of VFX a notch higher in comparison to Munjya, Bhediya, and Stree 2. So, VFX has to be correct. If the movie is good, and the VFX is not then public gaali deti hai."

Sky Force Release Date

Sky Force is directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur. The movie also stars Veer Pahariya, Nimrat Kaur, and Sara Ali Khan. It will mark Veer's Bollywoo debut. Sky Force is now slated to release on 26th January 2025.

Akshay Kumar Upcoming Movies

Apart from Sky Force, Akshay has multiple films lined up. He will be seen in Welcome 3, Housefull 5, Hera Pheri 3, Singham Again, Jolly LLB 3, C. Sankaran Nair's Biopic, and Bhooth Bangla. Welcome 3, which is titled Welcome To Jungle, is slated to release on Christmas this year. But, there have been reports that it might get postponed.

Meanwhile, Bhooth Bangla has been announced today on Akshay's birthday. The film will be directed by Priyadarshan and it is a horror-comedy. The actor-director duo are teaming up after 14 years, and fans of Akshay are super excited about this movie.
