Alia Bhatt-Sharvari New YRF Spy Universe Film Announcement: After the grand successes of 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', 'Pathaan', 'Tiger 3' and soon-to-be released 'War 2', YRF is all set to introduce an female-led spy-thriller in their spy universe. For this film, Alia Bhatt and Munjya star Sharvari have joined hands together.

Alia Bhatt & Sharvari's YRF Spy Universe Movie Title Revealed

On Friday (July 5), the makers finally revealed the title of Alia Bhatt-Sharvari's spy-universe movie, produced by Yash Raj Films. Titled 'Alpha', the stars have already kickstarted shooting for the much-anticipated film. Shiv Rawail(of 'The Railway Men' fame) has come on board to direct this movie.

The 50-second clip opens with YRF's spy universe logo and goes on to introducing the title of the film with Alia's power-packed voiceover in the background.

In the video, Bhatt is heard saying, "Greek alphabet ka sabse pehla akshar aur humare program ka motive. Sabse pehle, sabse tezz sabse veer. Dhyaan se dekho toh har sheher me ek jungle hai aur jungle me humesha raj karega Alpha (The first letter of the Greek alphabet and the motive of our program. The first, the fastest, the bravest. Look carefully, there is a jungle in every city and the jungle is always ruled by the Alpha)." Sharing the video, Alia captioned it, "It's the time of the ALPHA.. Girls! 💥💥 @shivrawail | @yrf | #YRFSpyUniverse"

As soon as she made the announcement, fans started expressing their excitement in the comment section of the post. One of her fans commented, "Damnn now thats how you do an announcement 🥵💥💥", while another one wrote, "now that's something we call as a smashing announcement 👏👏".

Alia Bhatt Upcoming Projects

On the work front, Alia Bhatt will next be seen in her upcoming production venture titled 'Jigra'. Directed by Vasan Bala ('Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota' and 'Monice, O My Darling' fame) and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions & Alia's Eternal Sunshine Productions, the film stars Bhatt in the lead. 'Jigra' also features 'The Archies' star Vedang Raina as her brother.

Alia also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic saga 'Love & War' with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
