Animal Park Shooting Update: After the success of Kabir Singh, filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga returned to the big screens with Animal last year and the rest is history. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, the action drama turned out to be a box-office blockbuster and joined the list of highest-grossing Bollywood films of all time.

Also featuring Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri in important roles, Animal centers on Ranvijay, the fierce and relentless son of a prominent industrialist, whose already strained relationship with his father takes a darker turn. Following an assassination attempt on his father, Ranvijay embarks on a vengeful path, driven by rage and a desire for destruction.

Since its success, fans have been eagerly awaiting its sequel. In the post-credits scene of Animal, a title card reading Animal Park appeared, hinting at a potential sequel. Well, the makers have finally shared an update on the shooting timeline.

ANIMAL PRODUCER BHUSHAN KUMAR SHARES UPDATE ON SEQUEL

In a recent interview, TSeries head honcho and Animal producer Bhushan Kumar opened up about Animal Park and revealed that Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently focusing on Spirit.

Kumar stated that once Vanga completes his upcoming project with Prabhas, production on the Ranbir Kapoor-led sequel is expected to begin within the next six months. Yes, you read that right!

Talking to Bollywood Hungama, producer Bhushan Kumar shared an update on the same and stated, "We will have a six-month gap and then immediately Animal Park."

Animal received mixed reviews, with some viewers criticizing its intense storyline and graphic violence. However, as per reports, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has hinted that the sequel, Animal Park, could embrace an even darker and more intense tone. Though Vanga initially suggested that filming might begin in 2026, Kumar's recent comments have raised anticipation, suggesting that production could start much sooner.

Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor has a busy schedule. He is currently involved in Nitesh Tiwari's ambitious Ramayana, where he stars alongside Sai Pallavi and Yash. Additionally, Kapoor is set to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love and War, co-starring with Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
