Speaking to Vogue India in an old interview, Anuska had revealed why she doesn't want to raise her child in the public eye. She had said, "We've thought about it a lot. We definitely do not want to raise a child in the public eye-we don't plan on engaging our child in social media."

"I think it's a decision your child should be able to take. No kid should be made to be more special than the other. It's hard enough for adults to deal with it. It's going to be difficult, but we intend to follow through," she added.

Even Virat Kohli, in 2021, while responding to a fan's question, shared why he and his wife Anushka refrain from uploading Vamika's pic or video.

The fan asked, "What is the meaning of Vamika. How is she? Can we see a glimpse of her please?" To this, Virat replied saying Vamika is another name for Hindu Goddess Durga.

He then explained why they are keeping their baby away from social media. He said, "No we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice."
