Lawrence Bishnoi Claims Responsibility Of Baba Siddique's Killing: Anyone Who Help Salman....
Baba Siddique, former Maharashtra minister, was murdered in Bandra, raising security concerns ahead of elections. The police are investigating potential gang involvement.

In a shocking incident in Bandra, Mumbai, former Maharashtra minister and three-time MLA, Baba Siddique, was tragically killed, leading to heightened security concerns amidst the upcoming Maharashtra state elections. Siddique, aged 66, affiliated with the Ajit Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party, succumbed to injuries after being shot near his son's office. Authorities reported that Siddique was hit by four out of at least six bullets fired, indicating a premeditated attack.
The two individuals apprehended in connection with this heinous act, Karnail Singh from Haryana and Dharamraj Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh, have purportedly claimed allegiance to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. However, these claims have not been confirmed by the police, and the gang has not taken responsibility for the murder. The investigation is currently being pursued from different angles, including potential links to the Bishnoi gang and a dispute related to a slum rehabilitation project according to a report published in NDTV.
And now, a Facebook post by a gang member revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi gang has taken responsibility of Baba Siddique's killing. The post read as, "Om, Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat," followed by, "I understand the essence of life, and consider wealth and the body as dust. I did only what was right, honouring the duty of friendship. Salman Khan, we did not want this war but you made our brother lose his life. Today the pool of decency of Baba Siddique is closed or at one time he was under MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) with Dawood. The reason for his death was his links to Dawood and Anuj Thapan in Bollywood, politics, and property dealings. We have no personal enmity with anyone. However, anyone who helps Salman Khan or the Dawood gang should be prepared. If anyone gets any of our brothers killed, we will respond. We never strike first. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat, salute to the martyrs".
Police sources revealed that the accused had been scouting the location in Bandra East for nearly a month prior to the attack. On the night of the murder, the three assailants, including a third suspect who remains at large, arrived at the scene in an auto rickshaw and lay in wait before executing their plan. This meticulous planning suggests a contract killing, prompting the formation of four special investigation teams by the police.
The possible involvement of the Bishnoi gang in this murder stems from Siddique's association with Bollywood star Salman Khan, who has previously received threats from Lawrence Bishnoi. Despite receiving a death threat 15 days prior and being provided with 'Y' category security, Siddique had not reported any threats specifically from the Bishnoi gang to the police. Central agencies, along with police forces in Gujarat and Delhi, are collaborating on this investigation, taking into account the extensive criminal network associated with Bishnoi.
Lawrence Bishnoi, currently incarcerated in Gujarat, is known for his extensive criminal activities, including making ransom demands from businessmen. His gang, purported to comprise over 700 shooters, has been implicated in various high-profile crimes, including the murders of rapper Sidhu Moosewala and a Delhi-based gym owner of Afghan origin. Bishnoi's animosity towards Salman Khan, stemming from the actor's 1998 black buck hunting case, has been highlighted by his close aide Rohit Godara, who stated, "anyone who was a friend of Salman Khan was their enemy."
This tragic event has not only left the city in shock but has also drawn attention to the pervasive influence of gang-related activities in the region. Authorities are diligently working to uncover the motives behind Siddique's murder and bring those responsible to justice.
