Baba Siddique Funeral: The nation woke up to a shocking news as renowned politician Baba Siddique, who is also known for his Bollywood friendships, was shot dead in Mumbai. The shocking incident took place on October 12 while Baba Siddique was leaving his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra. According to media reports, three unknown assailants had opened fire at him while he was sitting in his car. While Baba Siddique was injured severely, he was rushed to the Lilavati Hospital wherein he succumbed to injuries.

The news of Baba Siddique's killing has left the entire Bollywood industry in deep shock and several celebs were seen rushing to Lilavati Hospital. These included Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra, Zaheer Iqbal etc along with several politicians who also visited the hospital. On the other hand, Salman Khan, who shares a very close bond with Baba Siddique, also cancelled Bigg Boss 18 shoot and also rushed to Lilavati Hospital. To note, Baba Siddique is survived by his wife Shehzeen Siddique, daughter Arshia Siddique and son Zeeshan Siddique. While Baba Siddique's mortal remains were reportedly taken to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem, his funeral will reportedly take place on October 13 evening

Reportedly, Baba Siddique's last rites aka Namaz E Janaza will take place today evening at 7PM after Magrib Namaz at Maqba Heights, 15 A, Pali Road, Pali Naka, Bandra(W). This will be followed by burial (funeral) at 8:30 pm at Bada Kabarastan, Opp Marine Lines Station.

Baba Siddique Death Case: Shooters Claims To Be From Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Meanwhile, as the Mumbai police have been investigating the matter, two of three shooters were held from the spot. In fact, two guns with loaded magazines were also recovered from them. According to a report published in NDTV, the involvement of Lawrence Bishnoi gang is being suspected owing to his close proximity with Salman Khan. For the uninitiated, Salman had received threats from Lawrence Bishnoi in the past. The media reports also claimed that Baba Siddique had also received a death threat around 15 days ago.
