Bad Newz Budget And Box Office Target: After receiving widespread acclaim for his roles in Sam Bahadur and Dunki, Vicky Kaushal, Bollywood's versatile star, is set to charm audiences with his latest film, Bad Newz. Directed by Anand Tiwari, this eagerly awaited film is regarded as a spiritual successor to the Akshay Kumar-starrer Good Newwz. It stars Vicky Kaushal, Tripti Dimri, and Ammy Virk in the lead roles.

With a good buzz and high expectations, Bad Newz hit theaters today (July 19). Produced by Amazon Prime, Dharma Productions, and Leo Media Collective, the film delves into the rare phenomenon of heteropaternal superfecundation. This unique reproductive process results in twin children being born to the same mother but having different biological fathers.

Fans are eager to see Vicky Kaushal in a commercial, mass-appeal role. The film's trailer received a warm reception, and the song Tauba Tauba has become a massive hit. Bad Newz is a unique and unconventional comedy centered around Saloni Bagga (Tripti Dimri), who finds herself in an extraordinary situation where her twin pregnancy results in two biological fathers: Akhil Chadha (played by Vicky Kaushal) and Gurbir Pannu (essayed by Ammy Virk).

This unexpected twist sparks a fierce rivalry between the two men as they compete for Saloni's love and the affection of their children, resulting in a series of chaotic and humorous events. With Neha Dhupia also starring, the film runs for 142 minutes and has been awarded a 'UA' certificate by the CBFC.

While the official budget details of Bad Newz aren't yet out, it is said to be a mid-budgeted movie and is being compared to Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.

BAD NEWZ BOX OFFICE TARGET AND DAY 1 PREDICTION

As mentionde above, Bad Newz is drawing comparisons to another quirky rom-com Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which had a strong debut at the box office earlier this year. The robot drama opened with a net of Rs 6.7 crore. With advance sales exceeding Rs 2 crore, Vicky Kaushal starrer is projected to earn between Rs 8-9 crore on its first day.

Considering it's a mid-budget movie just like TBMAUJ, Bad Newz needs to earn at least Rs 80-90 crore domestically to be considered a successful venture at the box office.
