Bad Newz First Review: Vicky Kaushal’s Comedy Drama Is Total ‘Paisa Vasool’; Triptii Dimri Wins Hearts

Bad Newz Review: Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri are all over the headlines today and rightfully so as the two have collaborated for the first time in Bad Newz. Helmed by Anand Tiwari, the comedy drama is one of the biggest releases of the year and also features Punjabi singer Ammy Virk in the lead. On the other hand, film critic Sumit Kadel called Bad Newz a hilarious out of the box entertainer. Interestingly, as the makers have started the advance booking of the movie, it received a phenomenal response from the audience. According to a report published in Sacnilk, Bad Newz has sold 72563 tickets and minted Rs 2.03 crores from the advance booking collection so far as it eyes for a grand opening at the box office

Meanwhile, Vicky got candid about trying comedy genre for the first time with Bad Newz and told Money Control, "For any actor, there is this urge to do as many different kinds of roles as possible. Luckily, I got to work in many different genres and was offered diverse roles. I have worked with many different directors, and my personal favorite genre is drama and action. While doing comedy, you get a lot of confidence because you have cracked it. There are many legendary actors like Govinda, Akshay sir, Kishore Kumar ji, and even Diljit (Dosanjh) Paaji. They have been absolutely fantastic at the comedy, and we have also tried our hands at it. So, it is a fun film that you can watch with your family while eating popcorn".
