Bad Newz Twitter Review: After a string of intense roles, Vicky Kaushal is back on screen with light-hearted comedy film, 'Bad Newz'. From the handsome hunk's smooth moves in 'Tauba Tauba' to his sizzling romance with leading lady Triptii Dimri and the bro-mantic clash between the film's two male leads , Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk... Bad Newz has successfully generated a positive buzz around the film. Amid much anticipation, the comedy-drama hit cinemas today (July 19). Directed by Anand Tiwari, the movie is produced by Karan Johar-led Dharma Productions.

Starring Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk in the lead, the new Dharma film revolves around 'heteropaternal superfecundation'. In the film, a twist of fate leads to Saloni Bagga's (played by Triptii), twin pregnancies being fathered by both Akhil Chadha (played by Vicky) and Gurbir Pannu (played by Ammy Virk).

The dramedy also stars Neha Dhupia, Sheeba Chaddha and Faisal Rashid in important roles. The synopsis of 'Bad Newz' reads, "A twist of fate leads to Saloni Bagga's twin pregnancy being fathered by both Akhil Chaddha and Gurbir Pannu, setting off a chaotic rivalry for her love and their children. As Akhil and Gurbir fight for Slaoni's affectios, chaos ensues."

The Vicky Kaushal starrer - with a runtime of 2 hours 22 mins - has been passed with U/A rating from the Censor Board for Film Certification (CBFC). The digital rights of this film have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video. The film is expected to have its OTT release on Prime Video after two months of its theatrical run.
