Bohurupi Film's Shimul Polash Song Celebrates Love And Marriage- WATCH

Shimul Polash, the debut song from the upcoming Pujo film Bohurupi, stars Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Koushani Mukherjee, encapsulating the essence of marriage through vibrant wedding scenes. It marks Shiboprosad's first dance post-accident, showcasing a deep connection to Bengali culture.

Shimul Polash Love In Bohurupi

Windows Production has released first song, "Shimul Polash from their upcoming Pujo film, Bohurupi. The song features Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Koushani Mukherjee and is performed by Nanichora Das Baul and Shrestha Das. Nanichora Das Baul also composed the music and wrote the lyrics, with Chakraborty to the composition.

Depicting a Joyful Wedding

The song vividly captures the journey of Bikram and Jhimli's married life. It begins with Jhimli preparing for her wedding day, adorned with jewellery made from polash flowers. Bikram arrives with his friends, adding to the lively atmosphere of the wedding. The song beautifully portrays their new life together through scenes of a boat ride and a walk to a distant landscape, symbolising their family-building journey.

This release marks Shiboprosad Mukherjee's first dance performance alongside Koushani Mukherjee. Speaking about this experience, Shiboprosad said, "The song 'Shimul Polash' is a true tribute to the soil, sung by an original Bohurupi Artiste Nanichora Das Baul and Shrestha Das, which is truly a masterpiece."

Challenges and Experiences

Koushani Mukherjee shared her thoughts on filming the song: "This song is particularly special because it beautifully captures the relationship between Jhimli and Bikram. Shooting for this song was a beautiful yet challenging experience." She mentioned dancing on muddy ground made balancing difficult and attending pottery sessions to create clay pots for the song.

Shiboprosad also reflected on his favourite scene: "The shot where Bikram and Jhimli are seen walking together at a distant landscape, symbolising the beginning of their journey together as a family, will always be my favourite shot from the song." He added that this scene holds special significance as it shows him dancing for the first time after his accident.

Koushani expressed her hopes for audience reception: "We put in a lot of hard work on this project, and it holds a very special place in my heart. I hope the audience will love it as much as we enjoyed creating it."

The song "Shimul Polash" not only showcases a vibrant wedding but also highlights the couple's journey into married life. The heartfelt performances by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Koushani Mukherjee add depth to this beautiful portrayal.
