Shark Tank India judge Namita Thapar made her iconic Cannes 2024 debut this year and walked the red carpet in a stunning gown.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sobhita Dhulipala are all set to grace the iconic Festival de Cannes red carpet this year. Actress-singer Deepti Sadhwani has already made her debut at Cannes 2024, so has Shark Tank judge Namita Thapar. The 47-year-old attended the premiere of Chris Hemsworth and Anya Taylor-Joy starrer Furosia: A Mad Max Saga on day 2 dressed in a stunning ruffled off-shoulder gown.

Sharing pictures of herself on Instagram, Namita wrote, "Cannes 2024 :) thanks @prashantmangasuli @elioaboufayssal @helenanthonyofficial @brut.india"

Namita's mint colour dress - created by Lebanese fashion designer Elio Abou Fayssal - featured a thigh-high slit and a long trail.

Prior to the Furosia screening, Namita met the media and talked about 'breaking some stereotypes' with her appearance. She stated, "Typically, you associate Cannes only with film stars, the people from the movie industry. Getting entrepreneurs here shows that we can be multi-dimensional, we can do business, and we can ace it in fashion as well. So, in a way, breaking some stereotypes."
