Ever since the official announcement, fans have been eagerly waiting for the film. It is undoubtedly one of the biggest and the most-awaited film of this year.Directed by Kabir Khan, the biographical sports-drama is all set to hit cinemas on 14th June 2024. The 'Nation's heartthrob' underwent intense physical training for his character and shocked everyone with his drastic body transformation.

Kartik Aaryan is currently one of the most versatile actors we have in Bollywood right now. From comic caper to edge-of-the-seat thriller and drama, he has proved his acting mettle time and again on the silver screen. This time, the chocolate boy has slipped into the shoes of a real-life character named Murlikant Petkar for the Kabir Khan directorial.

For those unawared, the Kartik Aaryan starrer is based on the life of India's first Paralympic gold medalist Murlikant Petkar. He had suffered multiple injuries in an aerial attack in 1965 during a war with Pakistan and was rendered paraplegic.

Later, he bagged the first gold medal for India in the Paralympics at 1972 Games at Heidelberg, Germany.

According to multiple reports surfacing online, the makers of Chandu Champion have cracked a record-breaking deal with its non-theatrical rights.

As per a Times Now report, the OTT, satellite and music rights of the Kartik Aaryan starrer have been sold at whopping Rs 140 crores! Yes, you read that right!

A source was quoted by the daily, "140 crores is an exceptional amount during these times of recession in the film industry. Interest in the satellite and OTT rights was shown from the time when the project was announced even before shooting began. That's because Kabir Khan has a track record of terrific music in his films. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is also known for his music and successful films. As for Kartik Aaryan, his Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Satyaprem Ki Katha have proved his star power at the box office."
