The actor has left everyone impressed with his drastic transformation for the movie. Directed by Kabir Khan, 'Chandu Champion' is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated releases of this year. Chandu Champion: Who Is Murlikant Petkar?

Murlikant Petkar, known as India's first Paralympic gold medalist, was the jawan of the craftsman rank in EME (Electronics and Mechanical Engineers) in the Indian Army. He had suffered multiple injuries in an aerial attack in 1965 during a war with Pakistan and was rendered paraplegic.

Later, he bagged the first gold medal for India in the Paralympics at 1972 Games at Heidelberg, Germany. He also holds a world record in the 50m freestyle swimming.
