Recently, the 42-year-old comedy star visited Jalandhar's famous' heart attack' paratha maker, Veer Davinder Singh, who landed in trouble after serving the actor and his wife parathas. Strange right?
Veer Davinder Singh and others took some snaps with Sharma, which he has been doing on social media. Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the stall owner under Section 188 for serving parathas named after 'heart attack' to stand-up comedian and his wife, Ginni Chatrath.

Who is Davinder Singh?
Veer Davinder Singh is a Jalandhar, Punjab-based food stall owner who offers a variety of parathas named 'heart attack.' He has been serving some delicious parathas, which also attract loyal customers from outside of Punjab, and one of them is comedian Kapil Sharma.
Sharma, who usually visits the stall whenever he is in Punjab, however, this time his friendly visit turned into a nightmare for Singh, as he ended up getting arrested for keeping his stall open late at night. No more information is currently available about Davinder Singh.
What is the case about?
Davinder Singh was arrested under Section 188 for serving parathas late at night to Kapil Sharma and his wife Ginni. On the other hand, Singh has accused the police of locking him in a room, assaulting him, and harassing him.
During a press conference held at the Jalandhar Press Club, the stall owner accused Jalandhar's SHO, Ajayab Singh, of manhandling and heckling him. He operates his food business from his residence and a shop in Model Town late at night.
Further, Singh stated that SHO Ajayab learnt about Kapil's presence at his stall, picked him up, and kept him in a room for hours. The police then assaulted and mistreated him. Davinder has now urged the authorities to take the necessary action against the police officer.
Whereas SHO Ajayab has defended himself, stating that nearby residents complain about his stall creating ruckus in the neighbourhood during the night.
The police personnel also mentioned that Singh had been warned earlier about the same, alleging his lack of cooperation. The issue escalated after Kapil Sharma and Ginni visited the stall and praised him on social media.
