Deepika Padukone Pregnancy: When Ranveer Revealed If He Wants Baby Boy Or Girl & His Answer Will Melt Hearts

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are all over the headlines today and rightfully so. After all, the power couple is all set to embrace parenthood this year. Ranveer and Deepika, who have been married since 2018, made the big announcement on the social media and revealed that they will be welcoming their first child in September this year.

The news came in a week after Deepika's airport appearance which sparked her pregnancy rumours. It so happened that the actress' airport look left fans wondering if she was hiding her baby bump. Ever since the Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela couple made the announcement, fans have been showering them with best wishes and are wondering if Ranveer and Deepika will be blessed with a baby boy or a girl.

Amid the big announcement, we have got our hands on one of Ranveer Singh's old interviews wherein he spoke about embracing fatherhood. Talking to Bollywood Bubble, Ranveer stated, "I would much rather have a daughter. I think they're so much nicer, kinder, more intelligent, more involved. I much prefer the feminine energy".

This isn't all. Ranveer, on The Big Picture, also mentioned that he wants a girl like his wife Deepika. "Jaisa ki aap log jante hai meri shaadi ho gai hai aur ab 2-3 saal mein bacche bhi honge. Bhaisaab, aapki bhabhi itni cute baby thi na. Main to roz uski baby photos dekhta hoon, kehta hoon ek aisi de de mujhe bus meri life set ho jaye (As you guys know I am married and may have kids in the next two or three years. Your sister-in-law was such a cute baby. I see her baby photos every day and tell her to give me a baby like that, my life will be set)," he was quoted saying.

Meanwhile talking about the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Rohit Shetty starrer Singham Again with Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan. She will be seen playing the role of a police officer in the movie which will also have a cameo by Ranveer Singh. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh will be seen in the much awaited Don 3 along with Kiara Advani.
