The power couple of Bollywood, DeepVeer announced pregnancy back in February this year. Yesterday, Deepika was spotted getting admitted to the H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai for her delivery. Ranveer Singh, his mother and sister were also spotted arriving at the hospital.

How Is Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh's Daughter Related To Sonam Kapoor's Son?

While Ranveer Singh is not directly from the Bollywood industry, he is related to Sonam Kapoor and her Kapoor clan. Interestingly, both of their maternal and paternal grandparents were siblings. To note, Ranveer's mother Anju Bhavnani and Sonam's mom Sunita Kapoor are first cousins, making Sonam and Ranveer second cousins. That means Ranveer is distantly related to Sonam's cousins Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor.

As a result, DeepVeer's newborn daughter and Sonam Kapoor's son Vayu are third cousins. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja, who tied the knot in May 2018, welcomed their first born, son named Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, in August 2022.
